Getting Started

Download it for FREE from the Epic Games website. Seriously, a professional game engine for zero dollars. Here’s my beginner checklist:

• 🎯 Start with the Third Person template — it gives you a character that can move around
• 🗺️ Learn the Landscape tool — build mountains, valleys, whatever you want
• 🧩 Blueprints are your best friend — visual coding without writing a single line
• 📦 The Marketplace has tons of free assets every month

Pro Tips From My Experience

Don’t try to build a massive open world on day one. Start small — make a room, add some objects, make a door that opens. Then build from there. Trust me, I learned this the hard way! 😅
